Celebration of Philanthropy Goes Virtual

Members of Wake Forest Baptist Heath’s Hawthorne Hill Society and the Wake Forest School of Medicine’s Dean’s Leadership Circle joined in for a virtual Celebration of Philanthropy event on Oct. 1, 2020.

“Philanthropic support is vital to ensuring that Wake Forest Baptist remains a pre-eminent academic health system and our School of Medicine remains a recognized leader in experiential medical education and groundbreaking research,” said Julie Ann Freischlag, MD, FACS, FRCSEd(Hon), DFSVS, chief executive officer of Wake Forest Baptist Health, dean of the Wake Forest School of Medicine and chief academic officer of Atrium Health Enterprise.

The Hawthorne Hill Society and Dean’s Leadership Circle are the premier giving societies recognizing individuals who provide philanthropic support of $1,000 or more annually to Wake Forest Baptist or the Wake Forest School of Medicine.
