Members of the Order of the Eastern Star (OES) virtually presented a check for $40,000 to the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine in July 2020 as part of the group’s continuing support of WFIRM’s research work. The OES is the largest charitably focused fraternal organization in the world. Although it regularly adopts charitable causes for three-year fundraising campaigns among its membership, the OES has made WFIRM a permanent charitable cause.
