Furniture and home décor retailer Ethan Allen is continuing a program that directs funds to support research into gastrointestinal disorders at Wake Forest Baptist Health.
As part of the Preferred Partner Program, Ethan Allen allows Wake Forest Baptist employees to take 25% off of the purchase of one item and will direct 2% of the sale price to the gastrointestinal research fund.
The fund supports research and education for medical students, residents and gastroenterology fellows, and provides seed money for early stage nausea research projects, including the work of Ken Koch, MD. Employees must mention the GI fund and Dr. Koch at time of purchase. Wake Forest Baptist employees also can refer customers to Ethan Allen, and 2% of any of those sales go to the fund.
