Ideas to Get You Started

Here are some ways you can make an impact:

Mark birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones with a donation to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist or Atrium Health Levine Children's Brenner Children’s Hospital.
Have a yard sale, lemonade stand, bake sale or car wash.
Donate a percentage of sales at your local business.
Compete in a local race and ask friends and family to sponsor you.

Archie Dees doesn’t remember how Brenner Children’s Hospital helped save his life—he was only 10 days old—but when tasked by his parents to get more involved in his community, the recent Salisbury High School graduate knew the nonprofit he wanted to support.

After speaking with his guitar teacher, Tripp Edwards, Dees decided to organize a concert for his fundraiser and went to work figuring out the details.
