Nathanael and Kerrie Tarwasokono share a deep commitment to caring for others and giving back to the communities that shaped them. Nathanael’s journey—from his birth in Singapore to his upbringing in rural North Carolina—instilled in him a strong work ethic, a belief in education, and a lifelong passion for elevating others. As President and CEO of Allegacy Federal Credit Union, he is dedicated to advancing the organization’s vision of becoming North Carolina’s most trusted financial partner.

Kerrie, a proud North Carolina native, has devoted her life to supporting her family and uplifting the communities she has been part of. Through her involvement in schools, sports, and volunteer organizations, she is known for her compassion, strength, and ability to bring people together.

Together, Nathanael and Kerrie remain steadfast in their commitment to service and community impact. They cherish family time and continue to support organizations that inspire, uplift, and create meaningful change.

Lauren and Hermes Hernandez

Lauren and Hermes HernandezHermes Hernandez, MD, is a Hospitalist Physician at Forsyth Medical Center. Originally from Miami, Florida, he earned his medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine in 2012 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency in 2015. A cancer survivor himself, Dr. Hernandez received care at the Comprehensive Cancer Center, an experience that continues to shape his compassionate, patient-centered approach to medicine.

Lauren Hernandez is a Winston-Salem–based real estate advisor and business owner, known for helping families—especially physicians and medical professionals—navigate relocations and life transitions with clarity and care. A 2012 graduate of Wake Forest School of Law, Lauren is a former attorney turned entrepreneur, who brings a thoughtful, service-driven approach to her work and is deeply invested in her local community and philanthropic involvement.

Lauren and Hermes are proud parents of three wonderful children—Dylan (9), Clay (8), and Brooks (5)—and are passionate about giving back to the Winston-Salem community that they feel fortunate to call home.
