Diagnosed with leukemia at age 16, Stephen Doughton could not predict what his life would look like.

Fortunately, the treatment he received at Wake Forest Baptist Health's Comprehensive Cancer Center enabled him to finish high school and college, start a career and get married. His gratitude caused him to raise money over the years for leukemia research and patient assistance. Stephen and his wife, Kara, were not sure if children were in their future because of Stephen's cancer treatment. Hear their story and why giving back is so important to them.
