Our researchers are focused on not only understanding the underlying causes of cardiovascular disease but also working closely with our physicians and clinicians to develop new treatments designed to improve the quality of outcomes for our patients. For us, it begins with a better understanding of many of the clearly defined pathways responsible for certain cardiovascular diseases and associated cardiometabolic risk factors.

Today our research is helping us turn what we’ve learned in our labs and clinical trials into improved strategies for preventing heart attacks, hypertension, strokes and heart failure. It’s why our researchers continue to explore using using AI (artificial intelligence), wearable devices and other emerging technologies to be able to better identify those at risk for heart disease and eliminate their chance of ever having a heart event.
